Cindy L. Strohecker, 70, of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born on February 16, 1956, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ralph and Wilma Wingrove and stepdaughter of David Wingrove.
Cindy devoted her life to caring for those she loved most. As a dedicated wife and stay-at-home mother, she took great pride in creating a warm and loving home for her family. Being a mom and “Mammie” brought her the greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.
She also found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Cindy loved working in her yard and took pride in keeping her home and garden beautiful. She had a special love for animals and always showed kindness to any creature in need. Her gentle heart, warmth, and nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, Rue Strohecker; her loving children, Dennis (Candace) Martin, Kristen Martin, Andrea (Nathan) Strauss, and Stephanie (Donald) McAnallen; and her cherished grandchildren, Jordan Shrontz, Dawson Martin, the late Madison Martin, Angela Chambers, Jacy Strohecker, Mya Currie, Jewely Strohecker, Jenna Strohecker, Amelia Strauss, Rowen McAnallen, and Auden McAnallen. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Padilla and Kim Demski, and was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Wingrove. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her deep devotion to family, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
