Cindee Ann Shaffer

Cindee Ann Shaffer of Millington, formerly of Davison, passed away on March 11, 2026 at McLaren-Flint at the age of 72. Born in Flint, Michigan on March 17, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Maxine (Sturgeon) Ude. She spent most of her life in Davison before residing in Millington for the past thirty years.

A graduate of Davison High School Class of 1971, Cindee attended Baker College. She married Arnold Shaffer on December 4, 1982; he preceded her in death on June 17, 2020. An active member of the Davison Lions Club and a dedicated supporter of the Lions Leader Dog Program, she found great joy in a wide variety of crafts, particularly cross stitching and sewing. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Tonya (William Newman) McMan, her son Scott Ganther and Kim, six loving grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister Tricia Ude, her brother Bill Ude, and a host of extended family and friends.
