Cinda J. Spears

Cinda J. (Wood) Spears passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on October 24, 1960, in Lancaster, Ohio, she was the daughter of Roger L. Wood and Erma V. (Groff) Smith.

A 1979 graduate of Fairfield Union High School, Cinda worked in a variety of occupations during her life, with her time at Pridemore Bakery among her favorites. She found joy in traveling, music, antiques, classic television shows, and quiet moments spent with family and friends. She cherished her little dog, Frankie, and shared many fond memories and adventures with her special friend, Jerry Snyder.

Above all, Cinda was happiest in her role as Grandma. Her four grandchildren—Vincent, Presley, Bryce, and Matix—brought her the greatest smiles and deepest fulfillment.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Gray, her son, Nathan (Sheri) Gray, and her parents, Jim and Erma Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger, and her brother, James Wood.
