Chrysanthi Papoutsakis

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chrysanthi Papoutsakis (Springfield, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stavros Koundourakis and Maria Koundourakis (Venakis); her husband Andreas Papoutsakis; and her son Nektarios Papoutsakis. She is survived by: her daughters, Georgia Papoutsakis (Donald Rhea) of Hampden and Maria Papoutsakis of Palmer; her grandchildren, Sara Battersby, Jasmine Papoutsakis (Vugar Abdullayev), Nikolas Papoutsakis and Chloe Lewis; and her daughter-in-law Celinda Woo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM and at 12:00 PM.

Memorial contributions in Chrysanthi's memory may be made to Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
