Christy Ray Sparks

Christy Ray Sparks, 68, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Born on December 24, 1957, in Houston, he was known to family and friends as Chris or Sparky. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones.

Chris spent forty years as a salesman in the plastics industry. He found joy in riding his motorcycle, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, caring for his Mustang, and listening to Elvis Presley. Above all, he cherished his son and granddaughter, loving them with his whole heart.

He is survived by his son, Travis, his granddaughter, Victoria, and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith, his father, Raymond, and his wife, Nancy.

His son remembers him with deep affection, holding both the love they shared and the peace of his father’s final rest.
