Christy M. Donnay Obituary March 8, 2026 - Kolden Funeral Services

Christy Donnay, age 51 of Green Isle died on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her home in Green Isle. Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 11 a.m. at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Green Isle, MN. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Lunch to follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Isle, MN. Burial will be later in the church cemetery.Christy was born on September 3, 1974, to William and Sharon Donnay. She grew up near Green Isle, MN. She attended grade school in Green Isle and graduated from Sibley East High School in 1993. She attended St. Scholastica College in Duluth, MN before working many years with Starkey Laboratories. She was known for being strong willed and ready to defend her viewpoint. Christy loved her family; she was happiest babysitting nieces and nephews or laughing at family gatherings. She was also known for her cross-stich projects and like to pull them out with idle time. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary and reminded everyone to always take pictures.She is survived by her parents, William and Sharon Donnay of Green Isle. Grandmother, Shirley Larson of Lonsdale, MN, siblings, Leonard (Carrie) Donnay of Glencoe, MN, Matthew (Darcy) Donnay of Gaylord, MN, Lisa (Mark) Campbell of Green Isle, Amanda Donnay of Green Isle and Allen Donnay of Green Isle, MN. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard Larson and Alphonse and Mary Donnay.
