Christy Claudine Kirby

Christy Kirby of Maysville, Arkansas, known affectionately as Kitty to many, was a loving and kind woman whose warm heart and gentle sense of humor touched everyone she met. Born on March 14, 1955, in Noel, Missouri, to Ray and Vera Curtis, she passed away on March 9, 2026.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vera Curtis; her husband, Danny Kirby; and her siblings, Bertha Strauser, Windy John Curtis, Jacklyan Wheeler, Bertie Curtis, Roy Curtis, and Rita Curtis, Kitty is survived by her two children, Denise Kirby and her husband Loyal Lewis, and Daniel Kirby and his wife Katina Kirby. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Dominic Stover, Brian Kirby, Jakob Kirby, Lulu Kirby, Kenny Lewis, April Lewis, Shellie Lewis, and Katrina Lewis, as well as her great-grandchildren, Sterling, Caroline, Olivia, Braxton, Damon, Dracen, Chace, Mary, Emma, Alex, Martha, and Luci.

Through her life, Kitty created a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to live on in her family.
