Christopher Wayne Divers

Christopher Wayne Divers, 54, of Roanoke, passed away on March 11, 2026. He found his greatest happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Christopher loved hunting and fishing, sharing laughs and cold beers with friends, and working with his hands as a carpenter. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

He was preceded in death by his father. Christopher is survived by his loving mother, Irene Divers (Mason); his children, Christopher Michael Divers, Sierra Mae Divers, and Michelle Nicole Baublitz; his brother, Joseph Dennis Wampler; and his beloved grandchildren, Paisley Mae Bryant, Christiana Alaigha Divers, Oaklynn Reign Divers, and Adalyn Rose Divers.

Those who knew him will remember the steadfast companionship he offered and the joy he took in the outdoors and in the company of the people he loved. His friendships ran deep, and the bonds he formed through years of shared adventures and quiet support left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
