Christopher "Chris" Poole

Christopher “Chris” Poole, aged 49, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away at his home on March 11, 2026, after a battle with cancer. Born on December 27, 1976, in Greer, South Carolina, Chris was cherished by many for his kind, funny, and friendly nature. A tech professional at Michelin, he was known for his intelligence and warm approachability, easily making friends wherever he went and never meeting a stranger.

Chris held a deep passion for cars and motorcycles, finding joy and solace in these hobbies that reflected his vibrant personality and zest for life. He was an alumnus of Wren High School and attended Greenville Technical College.

He is survived by his loving mother, Nikki Tesnar; his brother, Erik Poole (Ashley); his sister, Tammie McKinney (Richie); his cherished daughter, Turner Poole; and his beloved son, Ebin Poole. He will also be missed by his uncle, Bob Ground (Beverly); his aunts, Leslie Martin and Deborah Scurry; and his cousins, Brian Ground, Sam Scurry (Amanda), and Caitlyn Johnston (Graham).

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wayne Poole; uncles Pete Kiner and Ralph Scurry; aunt Saundra Ground; and cousin Jennifer Scurry. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and laughter that will continue to inspire all who knew him, and his remarkable spirit and love for life will remain in the hearts of family and friends.
