Christopher P. Scala1966 - 2026ChicopeeChristopher Paul Scala, 59, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2026, surrounded by his immediate family. Born in Springfield he was the son of Anna (Verducci) Scala, and the late Frank Scala.Chris was a kind, funny, and loving man who enjoyed his family, pets and building model muscle cars. He was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Patriots on Sundays and seeing the Red Sox on those warm summer nights. He was such a tough and quiet man, but so full of life to his family and friends that he loved.Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lori Scala, children, Christopher, Victoria and Isabella Scala, brother, Vincent Scala & wife Emilia, sister, Karen Cabana, grandchildren, Layla, Marciano & Zylabel, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.All are invited to Chris's Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 12th, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, proceeding to his burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.For condolences, please visit TazziniFuneralhome.com.
