He attended Glastonbury High School, where he formed many lifelong friendships that remained important to him throughout his life. Chris was driven at a young age, starting work as early as possible delivering papers. Later, he spent his early working years in daycare in both Connecticut and Virginia, where he discovered how much he enjoyed working with children. Though he considered pursuing a degree in preschool education, he ultimately found his calling outdoors in lawn care, where being outside and on the move brought him great happiness.Over the years he worked for several companies in the field, building strong relationships with customers across Connecticut. His genuine, likable, and witty personality helped retain customers for years. Eventually, a friend saw the potential in Chris, and when he decided to start his own business, offered Chris an opportunity to build a company from the ground up with him at Turf Masters. What began as a small three-person operation grew into a thriving company with many employees and thousands of clients. Christopher played an important role in business development, customer acquisition, retention, and training new employees, always generously sharing his knowledge and experience to ensure the company became a success.Christopher will be remembered for his intelligence, his dry wit, humor, and the quiet way he cared about the people around him. He was a fighter with true grit through to the end. Christopher's presence will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. The family will announce a Celebration of Life in honor of Chris at a later date.Legacy.com reports daily on death announcements in local communities nationwide.
