Christopher Mueller, of Dunellen, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center in New Brunswick at the age of 63. Born in New Brunswick and raised in North Brunswick, he graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Metuchen in 1980. He had lived in Dunellen for the past 30 years, where he raised his family.

Chris served as a dining hall manager for Princeton University and worked part time for Dec-Crete in Piscataway. He was deeply committed to his community, volunteering with the OEM Community Emergency Response Team in Dunellen and serving as a consultant for the Traumatic Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey. A longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church in North Brunswick, he found joy in staying active and connecting with others.

He loved playing hockey and was a devoted New York Rangers fan. Chris had a great appreciation for good food and wine, often visiting New Jersey wineries with his wife Jackie and friends. He also enjoyed spending his free time exploring flea markets and garage sales.

He was predeceased by his parents, David and Patricia (Lyons) Mueller. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, M. Jackie (Wilcox) Mueller; his sons, Daniel Perez (Angela) of Raritan and Sean Mueller of Dunellen; his beloved grandson, Dominick Perez; his brothers, David Mueller of Monroe Township, Matthew Mueller (Alma) of Florida, Timothy Mueller (Caroline) of New York, and Adam Mueller (Susan) of Pennsylvania; his adoring aunts, Margie of Virginia and Florence of Waretown; and several nieces and nephews.
