Christine Miller

Christine Miller

Erie, PA

Christine Snarski Miller passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She was born 1949 in Erie, PA, to Joe and Jane Snarski, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Jeff Snarski (Robin).

After graduating from McDowell High School with the Class of 1967, she attended Jamestown Business College and worked many years at Lord Corporation before moving to Florida, where she earned a position of Telecom Manager at Bluegreen Corporation in Boca Raton.

Christine was a proud mother and grandmother. She raised two strong, independent daughters: Stephanie Devich (Mark), her tomboy daughter who never wore enough lipstick, and Aly Kroft (Bill), her favorite jewelry-making partner—one of Christine’s favorite pastimes, in addition to greeting card creation She was also grateful to have a bonus daughter, Kristin Stanford (Mike) of Cambridge Springs, PA. She was also very close with her nieces, Jill and Sara, and her nephew, Adam.

She doted on her grandchildren, Jack, Lilie, Harry, and Aida. She relished watching them grow and develop into their own people. They will miss her very much.

How do you put into words the life of a gentle woman who asked so little, gave so much, and was loved by so many? Chris was always admired for her courageous and positive approach, despite immense challenges.

Chris was deeply devoted to her husband of 35 years, Ron Miller, the love of her life. Always up for an adventure, they spent their time hunting, scuba diving in Cozumel, taking horseback pack trips through Montana, enjoying special time in London, traveling to Salamanca (what they often called their second home), and watching Gunsmoke for hours on end. Their final adventure was returning from Florida to settle into their dream home in Erie (every inch of which carries Chris’s warm touch).

Per Chris’s wishes, there will be no formal services.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd, Erie, PA 16510.

In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation – Lung Transplantation Program. The family would like to thank the entire care team at UPMC Hamot and the Cleveland Clinic for their care and compassion.
