She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis Thomas Lewing and Nettie Erwin Lewing; her husband Reverend L. S. Marcus; her daughter Wanda Marcus; her granddaughter Trisha; and her brothers, Huey, Wilson and Wayne Lewing.

She is survived by: her children, Roger Marcus, Judy Cienfuegos (Freddie) and Teresa McFarlin; and her grandchildren, Phillip, Annabeth, Tania, Joy, Karen, Andy, Marcus, Haleigh and Gentry. She is also survived by her twenty-two great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A reception will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anacoco Pentecostal Church (4637 Main St, Anacoco, LA 71403). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Mitchell Cemetery (4341 Port Arthur Ave, Anacoco, LA 71403).
