Christine F Gerald

Christine F. Gerald, age 92, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at Wellmore of Lexington, just two days after the death of her husband of 67 years, Elwood Liston Gerald.

Born on May 18, 1934, Christine was the daughter of the late Vernon and Major Fowler. She was predeceased by her sisters, Myrtle Suggs (Jimmie Lagrande) and Catherine Dew (RC Dew), as well as her brothers Vernon and Major Fowler.

She is survived by her daughters, Christie Gerald Derrick (Karl) and Linda Gerald Plisco (Jonathan); three grandchildren, Krystal Derrick Graham (Mitchell), Jennifer Plisco Langhals (John), and Michael Liston Plisco; and five great-grandchildren, Tyler Graham, Rachel Graham, Emily Graham, Rylan Langhals, and Ezra Langhals.

Christine lived a long life centered on family, leaving behind loved ones who will cherish her memory.
