Christine Prince ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Mar. 17, 2026.Christine Annette Prince, 71, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at Rose Arbor Hospice facility after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 21, 1955, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Thor and Joyce Anderson (Katz).After graduating from Union City High School, she worked in numerous administrative roles, including Binder Park Zoo and the Peer Listening Substance Abuse Council. She retired after almost 20 years of employment from Kellogg's.Christine joyfully served her God, Jehovah, and had a love for the ministry. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1983, and devoted her life to teaching others about the Bible, serving as a pioneer, and cultivating precious lifelong friendships. In the new system, she plans on climbing a ship's mast, using a pottery wheel, building a wine cellar for the vineyard she plants, playing the flute, and dancing like no one is watching!Christine's life was filled with creativity and a passion for interior design, DIYing, and woodworking. She enjoyed being near the water, music, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends. Chris faced her challenges head-on, with humor, kindness, determination, and fortitude. Her resilience and grit were an inspiration to all who knew her, and her memory will forever be a source of strength.Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Thor and Joyce Anderson; brother, Kim Anderson; and nephew, Steven Anderson.In addition to her loving husband, Robert D. Prince, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Teasha McIntosh (Bryant) and Brooke Bowerman, of Union City. She is also survived by her brother, Mark Anderson of Battle Creek.Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jasmine McIntosh (Rylee Baird), Haley McIntosh (Samiere Frederick), Kaden Bowerman-Burton, Leo Burton, Raven Burton, Lucas Burton; and her great-grandchildren, Marlee Baird, Kai Baird, Tariq Frederick, Asha Frederick, Emery Burton, and Luka Collyer.A memorial service celebrating Christine's life will be held at 4:30 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5561 Morgan Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037.
