Christine Ann Blake

Christine Ann Blake, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at The Hospice House in Hyde Park, with her daughter by her side. She was 71. Born on March 28, 1954, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Jerry and Blenda Ranalli of Wappingers Falls. Christine was predeceased by her parents and her brother, David Ranalli.

A 1972 graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School, Christine married her beloved husband, Ron Blake, on August 30, 1975. Ron passed away in March 2024. She worked at Central Hudson Gas and Electric Company and later at Wappingers Junior High School until her retirement.

Christine is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Alvarez, and her granddaughter, Izabella Alvarez, both of Wappingers Falls. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, in keeping with her wishes for no formal services.
