Tyler Harrell, 27, of Prairieville, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Tyler had a gift for lighting up any room he entered. His infectious smile and warm laughter drew people to him, and his quick wit and playful spirit kept them smiling. He loved to joke and cut up, bringing joy and ease to those around him. Fishing was his true passion; whenever he had the chance, he could be found on the water with a line in hand and a smile on his face.
Above all, Tyler will be remembered as a good man with a generous heart and a loyal, caring presence in the lives of his family and friends. He was always ready with a joke or a helping hand, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The memories of his laughter, his stories, and the joy he shared will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is survived by his fiancé, Britney Templet; parents, Tonya and James Norwood; step-sons, Bradyn and Breton LeBlanc; grandmother, Roxie Fuller; brothers, Wesley Holman (Kyla Comeaux), Justin Harrell, Nick Norwood (Fran Reemes), and Dustin Norwood (Nicole Wright); nephews, Christian Davis, Rayce Sharp, and Colt Sharp; niece, Delilah Holman; cousin, Austin Weir; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and Cleveland Jones, Chuck and Kathy Norwood; step-daughter, Dakota Simoneaux; and best friend, Tori Banks.
