Christian Sorensen ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home - Allen on Mar. 5, 2026.Christian Edward Sorensen, 52 of Bells, Tx, passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday February 28, 2026. He was born on October 26, 1973, in Geneseo, IL. to parents Terry Lee Sorensen and Vicki Kaye (Allen) Sorensen. Chris graduated from Tom Bean High School. As a young boy, he was a member of Boy Scouts and took yearly trips to Canada where his love of hunting, fishing, and camping with his dad was developed. He also learned very early on from his father that if you killed it, you ate it. He loved playing golf and riding dirt bikes with friends that were more like brothers. He started a career working for the railroad 10 years ago, where he made many life-long friendships. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, who loved to entertain and be the life of the party at all family gatherings. Anyone who knew him, knows that if he was not picking on you, he didn't love you.He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah (Trice) Sorensen, married October 2020; daughter, Sydney Gunter; his mother, Vicki Kaye (Allen) Sorensen; his sister, Kim Sorensen-Nielsen, her husband, Tyler, their son, Cameron, and daughter, Kaylee; his sister, CJ Newton, her husband, Doug and their son, Mason; as well as many family members and very close friends. Chris is preceded in death by his father, Terry. Comfort can be drawn knowing he will once again be hunting with his dad and be surrounded by loved ones that have gone before him, including his spoiled rotten cat Aslan.Prior to the funeral, there will be a private viewing for immediate family and close friends only. The funeral will be held at Luella First Baptist Church at 2:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2026. Immediately following the funeral everyone is welcome to come to Chris and Sarah's house, to celebrate Chris. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
