Chris Wells

Christopher “Chris” Wells, 50, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was born on July 20, 1975, in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, to Steven and Kathleen “Kathy” (Barnes) Wells, both of whom survive him.

Along with his parents, Chris is remembered fondly by his children, Tim and Eva Wells of Mishawaka, and his sister, Emily Wells of New Castle, Colorado. A hardworking and dedicated man, Chris spent his career as a lineman for AT&T. He took great pride in his work and passed on that same determination and strong work ethic to his children. He deeply loved his family and cherished the moments they shared, filled with laughter and stories. Chris showed his care through his steady presence and acts of service, always ready to lend a hand to those around him. He was the family’s beloved “grill master,” who brought people together for cookouts and gatherings centered on good food, laughter, and time with those he held dearest.

Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
