Cheryl Walchli ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Beachwood Society - Naples on Mar. 3, 2026.Cheryl Lynn Walchli, 68, passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2026. Cheryl was born on July 31st, 1957 in Lima, Ohio and spent her time between Chippewa Lake, Ohio and Naples, Florida. She will be remembered for her kindness and her most generous soul. Cheryl welcomed and hosted nine foreign exchange students into her home over the course of her marriage. Cheryl always loved to bring the community together by starting a few traditions in Chippewa Lake such as the book club and the Labor Day pontoon breakfast on the lake. She was also the backbone of the Chippewa Lake Water Ski Team in supporting her husband Scott through its turbulent years. Thank you, I love you Cheryl. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents Janet and Harry Kistler, and is survived by her husband Scott, sister Beth Kistler/ Olds (Butch), Bruce Kistler (Julie), de facto sons Christian and Jonas, and her daughters Miya and Lorraine. A memorial service will be held at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 1:00pm on May 8th, 2026 in Ottawa, OH.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
