Cheryl Ann Reppert

1955 — 2026

Mertztown, PA

Cheryl Reppert, 70, of Mertztown, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, surrounded by her family.

Born on December 24, 1955, in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bernice (Tiley) Manwiller. A 1973 graduate of Muhlenberg High School, Cheryl spent much of her working life as a 911 dispatcher and in emergency services. She married David Reppert on November 8, 1975, and together they shared a life centered on family, faith, and simple pleasures.

Cheryl was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, where she served as treasurer, past president, deacon, and director of the bell choir. She found joy in family camping trips, cruises with her husband, and supporting her children during their school years as a band parent and on family ski outings. She also cherished her collection of Longaberger baskets, yet nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by those she loved.

She is survived by her husband, David; daughters Chelsea (Reppert) Mondrick and her husband Ian of Coplay, Pennsylvania, and Alison Reppert Gerber and her wife Stephanie of Damascus, Maryland; siblings Cynthia (Manwiller) Bonsall and Craig Manwiller of Hamburg; and three grandchildren, Liam Mondrick, Bernadette Reppert Gerber, and Miles Mondrick. She was predeceased by her siblings Claudia Fitzgerald and Colin Manwiller.
