Cheryl Ann "Fowler" Johnson

Cheryl Ann Johnson, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away at her residence on the morning of March 12, 2026. She was born on April 22, 1956, in Greencastle, Indiana, to the late William A. Fowler and Leona L. (Trisler) Fowler.

A proud graduate of Greencastle Senior High School class of 1974, Cheryl worked counter service at Roselyn Bakery, where she brightened the days of many with her warm smile and delicious treats. She later served as secretary for the United Steel Workers Local 1999. Known for her vibrant personality, she was always the life of the party and brought joy to those around her.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Allen Johnson, whom she married on June 29, 1996, and her sons, Jason Ferguson (Stacie), Greg Johnson (Sabrina), Bruce Wright (Lisa), Jerry Wright (Laura), and Kevin Kinnee-Johnson (Tamara). She is also survived by her siblings, Doug Fowler (Sally), Alisha Fowler (Andrew), and Collista Fowler (Mark). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cloyd “Sonny” Fowler.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
