Cheryl Ann Dash

Cheryl Ann Dash, 65, of Forest City, North Carolina, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on May 30, 1960, to the late Charles Register and Gloria Wilson Register, Cheryl lived a life marked by generosity, faith, and quiet strength.

She found great joy in traveling with her dear friends Paul and Angel Wolfcale and in simple pleasures such as her favorite treats of Dr. Pepper, root beer, and whole crabs. Known for her distinctive morning coffee made with sugar and just a little bit of coffee, she also cherished long walks through her community, pausing often to visit and share conversation with friends. Above all, Cheryl was a devoted Christian whose faith shaped her days. She served as a Recovery Sponsor, offering encouragement, understanding, and hope to those seeking sobriety, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who could no longer care for themselves.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Mosely and his wife Adia Roberts Mosely, and Jabari Mosely and his wife Jennifer Mosely; her grandchildren, Ariana Hallie Reese, Trashaun Nathan Boyce, Amari Keymon Dewberry, DJ Boyce, Aaliyah Lyonna Mosely, Langston Leroy Mosely, Aubrey Sky Mosely, and Justice Blaze Mosely; her siblings, Carol Gean Ponder, Charles Register Jr., Anthony K. Register, and Vivian Louise Register; along with many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Gregory Bruce Register.
