Cherri Lynn Woodward of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2026, at 64 years of age. She was born at Camp Pendleton, California to Charles Ronald and Lehoma (Williams) Riley. Cherri worked at various jobs during her career to provide for her family. She was described as a true warrior, and survivor, in her health, relationships, and everyday life. Cherri enjoyed gardening, but she especially enjoyed her family and spending time with them. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Cherri is survived by her children, Joseph Woodward, Britani Woodward, Curtis Woodward, Shala Woodward, her sons-in-law, Demond Boone, Daniel Bello, her daughter-in-law Frankie Newby, her 15 grandchildren, her great grandchild, Brianna Perez her mother, Lehoma Riley, and her siblings, Vickie Loyd, Gary Riley, Sheryl Tucker, Pamela Shireman, Tanyas Wilmer, Shannon Jarvish, Shawna Wilcoxin, Christopher Bailey, Kimberly Cecil. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Ronald Riley, her granddaughter, Brooklyn Rochelle Woodward, and her sister, Charlotte Walden. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township 5463 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis, IN with her Funeral Service immediately following at 4:00pm there. Her wishes were to be cremated, and Flanner Buchanan is entrusted with those arrangements.
