Charlotte R. Stock

Charlotte Rita (Doepker) Stock, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

She was born on March 3, 1940 in Akron, Ohio.

Charlotte was preceded in death by the love of her life, John D. Stock, to whom she was married for 58 years, her mother, Rita Doepker, daughter, Michele Kyle, brothers John Doepker and Charles Doepker, sisters, Helen Smelko and Mary Jarvis, sisters-in-law, Gloria Doepker and Jan Doepker, grandson, Kyle Roderick, and her beloved canine companion, Lily, who got her through many tough days.

Charlotte graduated from Tallmadge High School Class of 1958. She was active with the alumni for many years, until her health declined. She loved life, spending time with her children and grandchildren, listening to music, crocheting, cooking and her flowers. She was a caregiver for several of her grandchildren and other children throughout her life. She fought her many health challenges and battles with unwavering grace and strength and is finally home in the loving arms of our Lord.

Charlotte will be deeply missed by her children, Denise (Vinnie) Pesko, John (Becky) Stock Jr. and Terri (Joe) Battle, grandchildren, Danielle, Dominique, Autumn, Jessica, Ryann, Alex, Sammi, Jordin, Darien, Devin, Jacob and Jason, great-grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, Kaylee, Rylee, Dylan, Gianna, Lucas, Jada, Zoey, Aurora, Jackson, Parker, Levi, Liam and Mavis.

Also surviving are Linda Ferrell, Mary Higgins, Eli Doepker, brother-in-law, Bob Jarvis and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, March 21 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held immediately following at 12:00pm. Pastor Cary Duckett officiating.

Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
