Charlotte Chisolm

Charlotte Chisolm, 87 years old, of Savannah passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Jake Chisolm, Jr.; mother, Lizzie M. Drayton; father, Willie R. Scott; daughter, Sandra Grant; sister, Linda Scott; and brothers Robert Burley and Willie D. Gregory.

She is survived by one son, Attorney Larry Chisolm; four daughters, Dr. Beverly Lewis Cox (McClellon); Emma Lewis; Aleathia Chisolm; Marsha Chisolm; son-in-law, Charles Grant, Sr.; brother, Dennis Scott; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of loving family, friends, and neighbors.

Charlotte’s life was a testament to love, faith, hard work, and service to others. Her presence brought warmth, wisdom, and joy to those who knew her, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.
