Charlotte Ann Cochran Reece, 67, of Goldsboro, passed away at ECU Medical Center on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born in Roanoke, Virginia on November 25, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Walter Cochran and Katherine Kane Cochran.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Dean Reece of Goldsboro; sons, Anthony Dean Reece, Jr. (Crystal) of Zebulon, and John Matthew Reece (Lauren) of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Deacon Kane Reece and Lynn Johnson; brothers, Robert Cochran (Shelly) of Salem, Virginia, and Steven Cochran of Roanoke, Virginia; and special brother-in-law, Larry Reece of Boones Mill, Virginia.
Her greatest joy was her family. Charlotte loved deeply and wholeheartedly, always placing those she cared for above herself. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every shared story, every laugh around the table, and every quiet moment spent together. She created a home filled with warmth, love, and memories that will endure.
Charlotte brought the same dedication to her work in the food industry, where she advanced to Assistant Manager at Burger King. She took pride in serving others and formed lasting friendships through her commitment and strong work ethic. An excellent cook, she expressed her love through homemade meals that drew family together in her kitchen, the true heart of their home. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the comfort she offered to everyone around her.
