Charlie Taylor Jr.

Charlie Taylor, 74, husband of Jane Anthony Taylor, died Friday, March 13, 2026. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Charlie and Dorothy Locke Taylor, Sr.

Charlie spent many years as an assembly line worker in the automotive industry, contributing at Michelin Tire, where he formed lasting friendships and enjoyed the camaraderie of his coworkers. In retirement, he embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in the outdoors. An avid golfer and fisherman, he cherished time spent on the golf course, at his favorite fishing spots, or exploring nature, always sharing laughter and stories with those closest to him.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Anthony Taylor; son, Brian Bennett Taylor; daughter, Angela Louise Taylor; and grandchildren, Todd, Savanna, and Mikayla Barrett. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald James Taylor and Gary Taylor.
