Clinton, MO

Charles William Campbell, Sr., 85, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 28, 1941, in Clinton, he was the son of William Henry Campbell and Blanche Fanny Atterbery Campbell.

On July 13, 1963, Charles married Carolyn Connilas Hill in Clinton. Together they shared 58 years of marriage until her passing on October 7, 2021. He worked for 25 years at the General Motors Leeds Plant in Kansas City before transferring to the General Motors Parts Warehouse in Reno, Nevada, where he continued his career for another 15 years.

A man of deep faith, Charles served as a deacon for many years, including at Life Ministries in Clinton. He and Carolyn were longtime members of the Assembly of God Church in Reno. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, his parents, and his two sisters, Donna Millam and Elizabeth Dunning.
