Charles Wesley Stephens

Charles Wesley Stephens, known affectionately as Wesley “G,” of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of forty-six. He found joy in playing video games, watching anime, and spending time with his family. Wesley loved every holiday and will be remembered for the festive spirit he brought to every gathering.

He is survived by his mother, Debora Stephens Sims, and her husband David; his sister, Rebecca Stephens, and her husband Scott Andrews; his brothers, Samuel Stephens and his wife Stacey, and Joshua Stephens; and his additional brother, Justin Canfield. He is also survived by his additional sisters, Jessi Canfield and Josie McLeod; nephews Gabriel Stephens, Caleb Stephens, and William Hembree; nieces Brianna Halbrook, Ava Stephens, Colette Andrews, and Amelia Andrews; and several aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Wesley was preceded in death by his father, Terry Stephens; his paternal grandparents, Kent and Peggy Stephens; his maternal grandparents, Glen and Jessie McClain; and his beloved dog, Joe.
