He is survived by his uncle, Harold Pace, and Ruth, of Young Harris, Georgia, as well as two step-children, Travis Ward and Carissa Johnson. Charles’s life touched the hearts of a host of cousins, relatives, and friends, who will remember him for his warm demeanor and gentle nature.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, Harold Dixon and Dorothy Gayle Pace Dixon, and his beloved wife, Gloria Burkhart. Their memories will forever be cherished, and their legacy lives on through the lives he affected.

A graveside service for Mr. Charles Walter Dixon will be held at a later date at the Dixon Family Cemetery with Larry Hendrix officiating.
