Charles Thurman Welch

Charles Thurman Welch passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 86. He was the beloved husband of Judith, née Ignasiak, for 62 years. Charles was a loving father to his daughters, Cherie Welch and Carrie Scharf (Brian), and a proud and devoted grandfather to Tyler Welch (Darian) and Andrew Martin. He was predeceased by his siblings, Juanita Knight, Charline Morris, and Ronald Welch.

Charles proudly served in the United States Army and enjoyed a long career at Ford Motor Company, from which he retired after 30 years. He found great pleasure in golfing, fishing, following race cars, and visiting the casino, yet nothing brought him more joy than his family, whom he loved deeply.

He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his steadfast devotion to those he held dear.
