"Ike" Mitchell and Audrey I. Davis Mitchell. He retired from Carborundum in Logan; served in the National Guard; member of the United Methodist Church; member of the Eagles in Murray City; member of the Moose Lodge in Logan.Surviving are his wife of 59 years Janet K. Mitchell; son Ryan (Mary Mae) Mitchell of New Straitsville; daughters Amy (Newt) Denny of Shawnee, Andrea Snyder of Murray City; grandchildren Hannah Snyder, Wyatt Denny, Lane Denny, Colton Snyder, Tommy Mitchell; Bonus grandchildren D.J. Bolyard, Jarod Bolyard, Jenna Bolyard; brothers Larry (Marlene) Mitchell of Murray City, Michael Mitchell of Murray City; sisters Charlotte Buchanan of Trimble, Cheryl (Mike) Dupler of Murray City, Vicki Duncan of Glouster.Tom was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters Elizabeth Marie Denny, Sarah Denny; sisters Judy Vasko, Carolyn Crothers, Rita Roe; brothers-in-law Dick Buchanan, Eugene Duncan, Bob Vasko; sister-in-law Mary Mitchell.A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville, Ohio.Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Murray City, Ohio.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
