It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Taylor of Ventura, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Taylor and Helga Taylor (Bartleson); his siblings, Barbara Johnson (Duane) and Kenneth Taylor; his siblings-in-law, Julie Taylor and Harlan Charlson; and his nieces, Carolyn Johnson and Nancy Nehring.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen Charlson; his children, Jonathan Taylor (Cathy) and Lindsay Armstrong (Steve); his grandchildren, Julieta Taylor, Kinnick Armstrong, Carter Armstrong and Emma Armstrong; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Giordano and Christopher Taylor; his daughter Lillian Taylor; his brother Dennis Taylor; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Taylor, Jerry, Bonnie Charlson, David and LaVonne Peters; Thomas Olsen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (112 N 4th St, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
