Charles Ray Galyon, Jr., of Mount Olive, passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Dallas, Texas, he spent most of his working life as a millwright. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who cherished the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of riding with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Williams Galyon, and his stepson, David Arnett and wife Kay, all of Mount Olive. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Pengelly Galyon of New Boston, Texas; two sons and a daughter; several grandchildren; two brothers and their families. His father, Charles Ray Galyon, Sr., preceded him in death.
