He is survived by his wife, Hazel Faye Davis Connor; his sons, Charles “Charlie” Ray Connor, Jr. of Sumter and Corey Glen Connor of Sumter; his grandchildren, Corey Glen Connor, Jr. and Paisley Ann Connor; and his brothers, Joseph Lee Connor (Carolyn) of Manning and Gerald G. Connor of Sumter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Charles lived a life rooted in family and community, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength and devotion to those he loved. His memory will be cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family who remain.
