Charles Ray Connor of Manning, South Carolina, passed away on March 17, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick Joseph Connor and Mary Lee DuBose Connor, and his brothers, John Connor and Harry Connor.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Faye Davis Connor; his sons, Charles “Charlie” Ray Connor, Jr. of Sumter and Corey Glen Connor of Sumter; his grandchildren, Corey Glen Connor, Jr. and Paisley Ann Connor; and his brothers, Joseph Lee Connor (Carolyn) of Manning and Gerald G. Connor of Sumter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Charles lived a life rooted in family and community, leaving behind a legacy of quiet strength and devotion to those he loved. His memory will be cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family who remain.
