He was born on August 11, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia, the son the late Forest Thompson Gazaway and Evelyn Parrish Gazaway Penley. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Charles Kevin Gazaway.He leaves behind his wife, Mildred "Millie" Gazaway; sons, Jeff Gazaway, Jeremy (Samantha) Nations, and Chris (Amy) Nations; grandchildren, Brittany Bond, Sara (Jacob) Davis, Sean Nations, Stacey(Brandon) Nations, Joshua Nations, Aiden Nations; great grandchildren, Lillie Davis, Hadlee Davis, Lesley Bond, Charles (Alex) Bond, Camilla Bond, Samuel Bond; sister, Kathie (Jimmy) Abraham; as well as several extended family members and friends.Family and Church are holding a Memorial Service to honor Mr. Gazaway's life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM, at Christ Chapel Community Church of Fayetteville.
