Charles Gray ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Rullman Hunger Funeral Home - Aurora on Mar. 16, 2026.Charles Matthew Gray, 57, of Patriot, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Edgewood, Kentucky.Charles was born January 27, 1969, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the son of the late James Monroe Gray and Shirley Ann Gray (Mote) DorseyHe worked as a construction worker and was the owner of G&C Construction, a profession he truly enjoyed. Charles took great pride in his work, especially pouring concrete and building projects with his own hands.In his free time, Charles enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, gambling, camping, riding quads, and spending time outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.Charles is survived by his daughters, Martika Gray, Keuna Gray, Chloe Gray, and Haylee Hiett; his daughter and son-in-law, Shyanne (Johnathon) Beach; and Kenneth "Ryan" Grizzel; and his cherished grandchildren, Presley, Willow, Charlee, Lincoln, Remington, Jackson, Sloan, Brysten, Laikyn, and Brentley.He is also survived by ten brothers, Mike Gray, Larry Gray, Jimmy Gray, Clarence Gray, Paul Woodscox, Robert Gray, Billy Gray, Steve Gray, Rodney Gray, and Roger Gray; and five sisters, Sharon Gilbert, Debbie Ison, Denise Neely, Sandy Cunningham, and Melissa Hooker.In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, David Gray and Barry Gray.Friends will be received Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Rullman Hunger Funeral Home.
