Charles J. Sampson Sr. passed away in March 2026. A lifelong resident of the Jersey City area, he was remembered by family and friends at a celebration of life held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. John’s Baptist Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was laid to rest at Hoboken Cemetery in North Bergen.
Charles lived a full life marked by his deep connection to his community and his devotion to his family. He is survived by his children, including his son Charles J. Sampson Jr., and other loved ones who will carry forward the values and memories he shared with them.
He will be remembered for the quiet strength and steady presence he brought to those closest to him.
