Charles Hodge McAdams, affectionately known as Charlie, was born on May 5, 1947, in Phoenix, Arizona. He peacefully passed away on March 4, 2026, in Lake Ridge, Virginia, after a valiant battle with cancer. Charlie graduated from Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA. For over 40 years, Charlie dedicated his professional life to the automotive industry as a sales consultant at Lindsay Cadillac. His commitment to excellence and his genuine desire to help others made him a beloved figure both among his colleagues and the clients he served. Charlie's work ethic and enthusiasm were contagious, and he was known for going the extra mile to ensure everyone left with a smile. Charlie's world revolved around his family, who were the pride and joy of his life. Though preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara McAdams, Charlie's legacy lives on through his son, Charlie McAdams; daughter-in-law, Kristen McAdams; grandsons, Tyler and Braeden McAdams; and his siblings, Joe McAdams, Marilyn O'Neal, Connie Williams, and Helen Gatewood. His memory will also be cherished by the families of his late brother, Bill McAdams, and late sisters, Ellie and Susan McAdams. As we bid farewell to Charlie, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, marked by unwavering kindness and boundless affection. He was a man who made the world a better place simply by being in it. Charlie's spirit will forever be remembered and cherished, and his impact will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
