Charles Herman Marlow

Charles Herman Marlow, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. A devoted man of faith and committed prayer warrior, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose family was the center of his life.

Preceded in death by his father, A.V. Marlow Sr., and his mother, Essie Tidwell Marlow, Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharlene Byrd Marlow. He leaves behind his daughters, Robin Marlow Sullivan, Susan Marlow Roper (Jeff), and Connie Williams Martin (Tony); ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished as his blessed treasures from God. He is also survived by his beloved brothers, Dwight Marlow and A.V. Marlow Jr., along with several nieces and nephews.

Throughout his long life, Charles remained deeply rooted in his faith and family, offering quiet strength, steadfast love, and gentle guidance to those around him. He will be remembered with great affection by all whose lives he touched.
