Charles Edward Weekley, 79, of Lagrange, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on December 29, 1946, in West Union, West Virginia, he had made Lorain County his home for the past 40 years.
He worked as a punch-press operator for 30 years, retiring from Advance Brush/Milwaukee Brush. A devoted member of Faith Baptist Temple in North Ridgeville for nearly 40 years, Charles served faithfully in the bus ministry, Sunday school, and security team. He held a deep love for missionaries around the world. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, gardening, farming, watching westerns—especially Gunsmoke—observing wildlife, camping, 4-wheeling, and caring for his Chevrolet pickup trucks.
Charles is survived by his wife, Laura Ellen (nee Bolden); his children, Stephen, James (Aubrey), Graceanna, and Sandra (Dan); his grandchildren, Callan, Henley, William, and Wyatt; his siblings, JoAnn, Judy, Bud, and Paul (Sharon); his mother-in-law, Judy Bolden; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bear. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Vera (nee Bailey); siblings, Clarence, Fern, Jack, Lee, Bob, and Ron; four nephews; his father-in-law, Curtis Bolden; and his mother-in-law, Georgia Starkey (nee Dunigan).
