Charles Edward Pace, age 80 of White House, Tennessee, passed away on March 9, 2026 at his home. Born on September 30, 1945 in Greenville, Mississippi to Melvin and Alice Gober Pace, he served his country in the U.S. Army before building a career as a tow boat pilot and factory worker. He was employed for many years with Tycon Fiber Web and was a longtime attendee of Long Hollow Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Travis, Allen, and Don Pace; brother-in-law Robert Jennings; and son-in-law Jerry Mire.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty Jean Pace of White House; son David (Rhonda) Pace of Cottontown, Tennessee; daughters Cindy Lynn (Jerry) Kirby of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Tricia (Stephen) Ballard of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Rebecca Mire of Morgan City, Louisiana, Tammy Lynn (Johnny) Boyd of Greenville, Mississippi, and Gina Smith of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sister Carolyn Jennings of Eupora, Mississippi; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
