Charles D. Wilson, 75, of Ridgway, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Born on December 30, 1950, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Doyle and Hazel Fletcher Wilson. On July 3, 1971, he married Sally M. Burrs, who preceded him in death on March 29, 2016.

Charles enjoyed a fulfilling career at Motion Control, where he worked for more than 30 years before retiring. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR, he spent many weekends cheering for his favorite teams. He took special pride in his time as a pit crew member at the McKean County Raceway, where his passion for cars and racing was evident to all who knew him.

Above all, Charles was a loving father to his son, Bill, and cherished the time he spent with his beloved granddaughters, Anna and Ava, who brought him great joy. His legacy lives on through the laughter and memories they shared together.

He is survived by his son, Bill Wilson and his wife Angela of Newville, PA, and granddaughters Anna and Ava. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Veronica Burrs of Johnsonburg, his sister-in-law, Jeanine (Larry) Allegretto of Rasselas, three brothers-in-law, George Renaud of Johnsonburg, John (Lynn) Burrs of Erie, and Butch Burrs of Keating Summit, along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Albert (Nancy), and his twin brother William Wilson, his father-in-law James Burrs, his sister-in-law Sue Renaud, two nephews, Eric and Jason Cook, and his aunt Royal Clair.
