He is survived by: his wife Ruth Powell (Sievers); his siblings, Sue Klein (Steve) of Brownsburg, Indiana and Dan Powell (Bobbie) of Lawrenceville, Illinois; his sons, David Powell (Jolene) of West Chicago and Matt Powell (Beth) of Huntertown, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Shreanna Powell, Sheldon Powell, Shaymis Powell, Shaylee Powell, Derek Powell, Ethan Powell, Liza Powell and Katherine Powell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Coonrod Funeral Home (107 E Cross St, Winchester, IL 62694). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
