Charles C. Hudson

Charles C. Hudson, 37, of Virginia, passed away on March 8, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1989, in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of David Napier and Elizabeth “Beth” Bast.

Charles is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Bast of Virginia; his father, David Napier; his stepfather, Raymond Bast; his sister, Amanda (Andy) Crawford; his fiancé, Jessica Orr; and his children, Chloe, Landon, Noah, Casen, and Maci. He is also survived by his uncles, Harold Root, Sam Miller, and Nick (Lawain) Miller; nieces, Kennedi and Aubree; nephew, Duke; cousins, Robert (Ashley), Brianna, Nick, Marc, Sarah, Ann (Kevin), Jessica (Bob), Michelle, and Joey Root; and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Shawn Hudson; his aunt, Judy Miller; his uncles, Joe Root and Charlie Miller; his grandmother, Annabelle Moore; and his cousin, Jimmy Miller.

Charles had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing, mushrooming, or simply enjoying the fresh air around a fire. He never met a stranger and cherished his family above all else.
