Charles "Chuck" B. Carr

Charles "Chuck" B. Carr, 87, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on August 1, 1938, to Harold and Martha Carr, Chuck proudly served in the United States Army before beginning a long and dedicated career at AM General, where he worked for more than 40 years until his retirement.

On February 14, 1970, Chuck married Juliana Devos. They shared 52 loving years together until her passing on September 8, 2022. Together they raised two sons, Jeffrey and Douglas Carr. Jeffrey preceded his father in death.

Chuck is survived by his son Douglas (Lora) Carr, his daughter-in-law Patty Carr, and his cherished grandchildren Joshua Carr, Mary (Noah) Lower, Paige Carr, and Sarah (Ian) Polando. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his devotion to family, and the steady, honorable life he lived.
