Charles Aron Griffin

Charles Aron Griffin, 93, of Woodruff, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Born to the late Thomas Edward and Ida Pearson Griffin, he was the devoted husband of Sybil Tapp Griffin. Charles spent his career with Springs Industries before retiring and was a longtime member of Potter House Ministries.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil; three sons, Ricky Griffin (Donna), Mitchell Griffin (Michele), and Michael Griffin; a daughter, Becky Quinn (Shannon); four grandchildren, Blake Mills, who was reared in the home, April Pace, Hannah Howell, and Paisley Quinn; and four great-grandchildren, Adalyn Pace, Walker Pace, Payton Howell, and Hayes Howell. Charles was preceded in death by five brothers, Edward, Richard, Wilbert, Bobby Joe, and JW Griffin, and two sisters, Doris Ray and Mildred Pearson.

The family extends special thanks to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their compassionate care during his final days. Charles will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose quiet strength and steadfast presence enriched the lives of all who knew him.
