He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Holt and Sylvia Williams Holt; his son Charles Anderson "Chuck" Holt Jr.; his brother J. T. Holt; and his sister-in-law Bernice Holt.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Holt of Coila; his daughters, Debra Ann Richardson (Mike) of Cherokee, Angela Carpenter (Michael) of Carrollton and Darlene Robertson (Benji) of Coila; and his close friend Trixie. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Coila Cemetery.
